Qualifications

• Idaho EMT-B or AEMT certificate or plan to complete before hire
• Current BLS certification – Health Care Provider
• Valid/unrestricted Idaho driverb license
• ICS 100 and ICS 700 completion
• Able to transfer patients independently and safely
• Able to work irregular hours under high stress conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform primary assessments and manage airway, breathing, circulation
• Conduct secondary head-to-toe assessments and evaluate injuries
• Immobilization principles and equipment use
• Operate transport equipment within scope and ensure safety
• Complete patient care reports accurately and timely
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness after calls
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff
