Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Medical Professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and to administer approved immunizations in line with state regulations and SOPs.

You will also provide limited emergency care, maintain documentation, and collaborate with physicians to ensure compliant, safe donor experiences in a fast-paced plasma center setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a healthcare-related program and licensed as physician or nurse (RN/LPN/EMT) per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• One year hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews and physical assessments per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk donor management system.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions; provide care as trained and licensed.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician for abnormal results or eligibility concerns and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, maintain confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer to support workforce development.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to maintain donor-focused environment; perform other duties as assigned.
