Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Donor Center Medical Professional responsible for evaluating donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administering immunizations, and providing limited emergency care in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires collaboration across center operations, documentation in NexLynk, training, and serving as a QA backup while mentoring new staff, ensuring donor safety, and maintaining adherence to cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a healthcare-related program with an active license or certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year hospital, clinical, or plasma center experience preferred.
• State license/certification valid in the work state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments and informed consent.
• Review and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Communication Logs.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
