Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT FULL-TIME Opportunity

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
2. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
3. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care, including communication, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.

Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency response vehicles.

Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CA Driver’s License
• Ambulance Driver’s License (from DMV)
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MCSA-5875 and MCSA-5876)
• State of California EMT license
• CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider; handwritten cards not accepted)
• K4 report (Driving Record) from DMV (less than 30 days old)
• ICS courses: Please complete trainings via FEMA ICS training
• IS-100 (ICS 100)
• IS-200 (ICS 200)
• IS-700 (NIMS)
• IS-800 (NIMS)

Salary Range: $23.64 - $25.43/hr DOE (average 42 hours/week on 12-hour shifts).
