We're hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  2. Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  3. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  4. Utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care, including communication, medical equipment handling, cleaning procedures, and use of office tools.
  5. Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
  6. Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • CA Driver's License
  • Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate (MCSA-5875 and MCSA-5876)
  • State of California EMT license
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Healthcare Provider; handwritten cards are not acceptable)
  • K4 report (Driving Record) from the DMV (less than 30 days old)
  • Completion of ICS courses: https://training.fema.gov/is/crslist.aspx
  • IS-100 (ICS 100)
  • IS-200 (ICS 200)
  • IS-700 (NIMS)
