Job Description: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

*Please note that candidates could be asked to work in both Moorpark or Oxnard, depending on current business needs.*

We are hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, providing high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills for care, including communication, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate ambulances in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency response vehicles.
• Collaborate professionally with all health and safety personnel and fellow EMTs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• CA Driver's License
• Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
• Medical Examiner's Certificate (MCSA-5875 and MCSA-5876)
• State of California EMT license
• CPR Card (American Heart Association, Healthcare Provider; handwritten cards are not accepted)
• K4 driving record report from DMV (less than 30 days old)
• Completion of ICS courses: training link
• IS-100 (ICS 100), IS-200 (ICS 200), IS-700 (NIMS), IS-800 (NIMS)
