Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is actively hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in a full-time capacity in the United States, starting at hourly rates of $16.00 with DOE. Immediate openings exist for EMT Basic, with a strong emphasis on high quality patient care and service delivery.

EMTs will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assess patients, provide treatment, and document care while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include EMT certification or state certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• State driver’s license required.
• Healthcare work experience preferred.
• Passing a physical agility test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.
• Assess patients, determine care, and provide emergency services.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Operate EMT skills and equipment and follow safety policies.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

• Take pride in providinga safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

• UseappropriateEMTskills to provide care includingcommunications, medicalequipment, cleaningprocedures, officeequipmentand tools.

• EMTs operateanambulance in conjunction with applicablecompanysafety policies,andtraffic lawsrelated totheoperation of emergency medical response vehicles.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

OtherResponsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy

• PassPhysical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
