Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Rayne, LA. This full-time role responds to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, determining needed care, and delivering emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment; documenting information; maintaining confidentiality; and collaborating with allied health and safety personnel.

Qualifications

• EMT Basic certification required or in process.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Ability to document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Driving record compliant with company policy and ability to pass agility tests.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

OtherResponsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• State Driver's License

• National or StateEMTcertification

• CPR/BLS certifications

• Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy

• PassPhysical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
