Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Orlando, FL. This EMT-Basic role is full-time and offers hourly pay starting at $20.00 with DOE.

EMTs respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, providing necessary care, documenting information, and collaborating with public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State driver’s license is required.
• National or State EMT certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide patient assessment and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills for communications, equipment, cleaning procedures, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR community relations.
