Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Medical Support Specialist with EMT credentials to ensure donor safety and support the plasma donation process. You will determine eligibility, review lab results, and handle donor communications under medical guidance.

Qualifications

• Current EMT licensure in the applicant's state (OK) and CPR/AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, history interview, physical exam, and screening tests.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu) as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents per EHS policies and guidance.
