Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Addison, IL seeks an EMT-licensed Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety with guidance from Center Physicians.

You will work under the Center Manager and Medical Affairs, ensuring regulatory compliance and EHS alignment while contributing to high-quality plasma collection and patient support programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed/certified in the issuing state for EMT or nursing role.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and examinations.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities.
• Manage incidents following EHS guidance.
