Job summary

Utah Navajo Health System in Montezuma Creek, Utah is seeking a full-time EMS training instructor. You will prepare and conduct training classes in BLS and ALS, safety and sanitation procedures, and ensure compliance with EMS Director guidelines.

The role requires an Associate's degree in EMS, paramedic/AEMT licensure, and instructor certifications (ACLS, PALS, CPR). You will coordinate training staff, track continuing education hours, and work with the EMS Medical Director to design

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in EMS or related field.
• Experience developing and supervising a training program.
• Ability to interpret and apply medical research with EMS leadership.
• Valid Utah or nearby state Driver's License and state Paramedic/AEMT certification.
• Utah instructor certification; ACLS, PALS and CPR instructor certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure training is provided in a consistent, caring manner to all EMS employees.
• Prepare monthly in-class trainings and on-duty crew trainings.
• Design just-in-time trainings to correct deficiencies.
• Plan, prepare and conduct training in care and use of EMS equipment.
• Coordinate lead EMS training staff and oversee instructors.
• Track employee continuing education hours and certifications.
