Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in industry.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• AEMT or Paramedic licensure in Utah.
• EMS Course Coordinator Endorsement or ability to complete within 1 year.
• Knowledge of Google Suite.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students per syllabi, curriculum, and lab plans; provide feedback tied to industry practices.
• Develop active, diverse learning experiences focused on hands-on learning by doing.
• Communicate objectives and competencies for the program; ensure lab/classroom readiness.
• Assign and grade class work, tests, and assignments in a timely manner.
• Observe, evaluate, and record student performance; notify full-time instructor of issues.
• Manage student behavior and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Maintain FERPA and confidentiality of student information; ensure safety standards are followed.
• Model professional behavior; collaborate with program staff and counselors as needed.
• Support COE accreditation requirements and participate in program governance meetings.
