Job summary

DocGo is seeking a Coordinator of Training & Education to plan and oversee EMS training across multiple NY locations. The role includes leading the FTO program, delivering hands-on instruction, and ensuring compliance with QA standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Paramedic/EMT, NY reciprocity eligibility, and strong instructional skills to develop curricula and evaluate field teams. This is a full-time role with benefits and a rotating NY-location schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed Paramedic/EMT.
• Unrestricted NYS or National RN/Paramedic license with NY reciprocity eligibility within 90 days.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to develop and deliver EMS curriculum and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and oversee EMS training across levels of care.
• Lead the Field Training Officer (FTO) program and evaluate new providers.
• Train staff on agency equipment (suction, oxygen, backboards, IV kits, monitors).
• Develop treatment plans and documentation standards for EMS operations.
• Create lesson plans using standardized software and run multiple courses per cycle.
• Provide EMS shift coverage and assist with budget planning for training needs.
• Maintain certifications, licenses, and CQI indicators; prepare reports.
