Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited community college with major course work in medical technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in emergency medical services as a Paramedic.
• Paramedic certification required and NC EMS credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and directing emergency medical services in-service training programs; providing technical assistance; preparing and maintaining files and records; preparing reports.
• Assures staff skills are adequate; evaluate new and existing employees’ skills in the field.
• Revise and develop medical protocols and procedures as needed.
• Analyzes agency response and methods to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services.
