Job summary

Pfc-Safeguards-LLC is seeking an Emergency Medical Services Tactical Operations Lead (EMSTOL) in Boulder to oversee clinical operations, medical logistics, and emergency medical planning for major events. This role designs and manages a comprehensive medical response infrastructure integrated with local agencies and ICS.

The EMSTOL will coordinate with Fire/EMS, Public Health, and other agencies, ensure licensure compliance, and implement Mass Casualty Incident protocols.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience leading emergency medical services in large events.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency operations in ICS/unified command.
• Strong background in prehospital medicine and resource deployment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Hazard Vulnerability Analysis considering weather, crowd demographics, venue characteristics and risks.
• Perform advance site surveys with GSRS and leadership to map hospitals, ingress/egress, and resource placement.
• Develop and submit a Medical Emergency Operations Plan (MEOP) with ICS integration and MCI protocols.
• Serve as liaison between organizers and Fire/EMS, Public Health and other agencies; coordinate mutual aid.
• Establish and manage a centralized Medical Command Post with communications to 911 and GSRS.
• Direct deployment of stationary aid stations, mobile teams, and standby ambulances; manage supplies and equipment.
• Implement high-risk contingency protocols for heat/cold exposure, cardiac events, trauma and overdose.
