Job summary

Global Medical Response in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a full-time role within our Operations Management team. The position oversees day-to-day activities, staffing, scheduling, and equipment maintenance to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with public safety agencies, manage shift calendars, and help shape departmental policies. A valid EMT or Paramedic certification along with leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years EMS field experience.
• Prior FTO or supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• State EMT or Paramedic Certification.
• State Driver's License with driving record in compliance with GMR's Safety & Driving policy.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop field staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain operational quality through daily oversight and communication.
• Act as a liaison among the company, patients, and public safety agencies.
• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and support team development.
• Collaborate with management to address staffing and service improvement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Manage staffing levels, shift calendars, and fill open shifts as needed.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of medical equipment.
