Job summary

PFC Group of Companies seeks an Emergency Medical Services Tactical Operations Lead for major events. This senior role oversees clinical operations, medical logistics, and emergency planning, integrating with local agencies and ICS.

The position designs and manages medical response infrastructure for high-risk events across North America. The role requires extensive EMS leadership—paramedic licensure, ALS experience, and strong coordination with Fire/EMS, Public Health, and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience as a senior emergency services leader with EMS command background.
  • Over 20 years total EMS experience in senior roles (EMS Chief, senior paramedic leader, fire officer).
  • Current Paramedic licensure and substantial Advanced Life Support (ALS) experience.
  • CPR/BLS certification at minimum; NIMS/IC training is required.
  • Experience coordinating with municipal/risk agencies for large events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and management of a comprehensive medical response infrastructure for major events.
  • Serve as primary liaison between event organizers and local Fire/EMS and public health agencies.
  • Establish and manage a centralized Medical Command Post and ensure ICS/unified command application.
  • Manage medical assets, stations, vehicles, and supply chains for real-time deployment.
  • Coordinate patient transfer, hospital distribution, and hand-offs at loading zones.
  • Prepare after-action reports and real-time leadership summaries for GSRS leadership.
