Job summary

Ameren is seeking an Engineer to design, program, implement, and maintain a project-oriented data modeling tool and perform model uploads for energy management and SCADA systems. The role includes backup duties for other system modeling functions.

You will be part of the Technical Support team ensuring 24x7 availability, upgrading software, and integrating new systems to support control center activities in line with federal, state, or local policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; electrical engineering preferred.
• Experience with energy management or SCADA systems preferred.
• Understanding of electrical power systems and control systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time process control computers and 24x7 availability for operations personnel.
• Support monitoring, analysis and dispatching of Ameren MO & Ameren IL assets.
• Implement software upgrades to keep systems current.
• Integrate new systems to support control center activities as required by policy.
• Share off-hours support responsibilities to provide 24x7 coverage.
