Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking a part-time Emergency Medical Services program assistant clinical coordinator/instructor for the EMS program. The role supports student rotations, labs, and exams, and may involve online instruction and coverage for absent instructors.

The position is limited to 19 hours per week during and between semesters, with exact scheduling coordinated with the Program Director. Candidates must be Georgia-licensed paramedics with 3 years EMS field experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Georgia Paramedic (National Registry)
• 3 years’ experience in the EMS field
• Part-time role up to 19 hours/week during/between semesters

Responsibilities

• Work with Clinical Coordinator on student rotation placements and site visits to monitor progress
• Instruct students in accordance with program policies; lab/in-class instruction to meet learning outcomes
• Fill in as needed when other instructors are absent
• Mentor, tutor, and advise EMS program students
• Proctor written exams and evaluate psychomotor skills in lab/exams
• Operate lab equipment; oversee lab spaces with faculty
• Attend recruitment events and respond to faculty/student communications
• Complete required professional development and other duties per Program Director/College
