Qualifications

• Licensed Georgia Paramedic (National Registry Certified).
• 3 years’ experience in the EMS field.
• Associate degree or higher from an regionally accredited college or university.
• GA EMS Instructor/Coordinator License (EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic).
• Experience teaching within an EMS program or college setting.
• Experience with a learning management system such as Blackboard.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator on student rotation placements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor student progress during clinicals.
• Instruct students per program policies to meet learning outcomes.
• Utilize online instruction/communication as needed with students.
• Fill in as needed when instructors are absent.
• Mentor, tutor, and advise EMS program students.
• Proctor written exams and evaluate psychomotor skills.
• Operate laboratory equipment effectively and keep spaces organized.
• Attend recruitment events and respond promptly to inquiries.
