Job summary

Stanly Community College is seeking an Instructor/Coordinator for the Emergency Medical Science Program to lead and support EMS courses, labs, and clinical activities. You will ensure compliance with state standards and accreditation requirements while advising students and coordinating simulations and assessments.

The role requires experience as a paramedic and teaching credentials, with preferred degrees and instructor eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain current Paramedic credential.
• At least 3 years of paramedic field experience.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• NCOEMS Level I Instructor or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Teach EMS courses in didactic and lab settings (seated and online).
• Coordinate and conduct patient simulations with students for skill development.
• Advise students on academic progress and career goals; mentor juniors.
• Collaborate with Program Director and adjunct instructors to plan and improve the EMS program.
