Job summary

Lifeguard Ambulance Service in Birmingham, Alabama, seeks a Supervisor Paramedic to work with the Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day EMS delivery, uphold GMR values, and drive service quality.

You will lead field teams, manage budgets, mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to market growth and patient care excellence within the Global Medical Response family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Emergency Medical Services, or related field.
• Current state Paramedic certification/licensure required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and any additional certifications required by local, state, or company standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting insurability requirements.
• Minimum of three years EMS leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor field personnel to meet performance and quality standards.
• Oversee day-to-day EMS operations and ensure optimal service levels.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and contract compliance within responsibilities.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and partners to drive quality improvements.
• Analyze operational and financial data to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Support community outreach and business development initiatives to grow services.
