American Medical Response (AMR) in Washington, DC seeks an EMS Operations Supervisor E to oversee field crews and ensure compassionate, high-quality patient care. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating responses, and maintaining operational readiness in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Starting pay is $80,000 with a pathway to manage shifts, train personnel, and coordinate disaster response efforts in the DC area.

Qualifications

• EMT certified and in good standing per local regulations.
• Experience supervising field personnel is preferred.
• Valid driver's license in compliance with AMR policy.

Responsibilities

• Gather information regarding accidents and major incidents and communicate findings to upper management for investigation.
• Coordinate operations during times of disaster.
• Schedule crews to staff units, including re-scheduling for employees on sick leave, and ensure crews are on the street at the beginning of their shifts.
• Function as a crew EMT as required.
• Provide support and assistance to the field personnel to help them achieve maximum performance.
• Administer company policies and procedures, as well as employment law in a consistent manner.
