Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking an Operations Manager for EMS/PCBA in Seymour, CT. This senior role directs daily manufacturing and warehouse operations in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment, reporting to the VP of Operations and owning SQDCP performance.

You will lead supervisors, drive schedule adherence, improve OEE, and implement Lean practices across the plant while coordinating with Manufacturing Eng, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 7+ years of manufacturing leadership in EMS/PCBA environments.
• Experience with high-mix, low-to-medium volume electronics assembly.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Drive schedule adherence and OEE improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate production supervisors and frontline staff.
• Implement Lean practices (5S, Kanban, Kaizen) across the plant.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Eng, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to ensure NPI readiness and process validations.
