Job summary

J T is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a high‑mix EMS/PCBA facility in Seymour, CT. The role focuses on strategic and tactical oversight of manufacturing, engineering, and technical operations to achieve SQDCP goals and scalable processes.

Responsibilities include leading tiered management, driving capacity planning, Lean deployment, and robust NPI/DFM alignment with design and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of manufacturing operations in EMS/PCBA environments.
• Experience with high-mix, low-to-medium volume production.
• Strong process improvement and quality system adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership across plant manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
• Drive SQDCP metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
• Lead NPI & DFx alignment with engineering and customers.
• Manage production planning, capacity, and line balance using ERP/MRP.
• Implement Lean tools (VSM, 5S, Kaizen) and sustainment programs.
• Oversee SMT, through-hole, box build, testing, and inventory control.
• Direct root-cause investigations (8D, A3, DMAIC) for issues.
