Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a high-mix EMS/PCBA environment in Seymour, CT. The role leads plant manufacturing, engineering, and technical operations to drive SQDCP performance, lean deployment, and scalable processes.

Responsibilities include master scheduling, capacity modeling, NPI support, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on delivering margin growth and customer satisfaction in a controlled, ISO/regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership across plant manufacturing and technical operations.
• Lead production planning, scheduling, and line capacity optimization.
• Drive Lean initiatives and implement tiered shop-floor management.
• Oversee SMT, PTH, box build, testing, and inventory management.
• Partner with engineering on DFM/DFT for NPI and cost optimization.
• Maintain regulatory compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D, ITAR).
