Job summary

CareFlite in Texas seeks a strong leader to guide the Ground Operations team. You will inspire change, communicate effectively, and promote ongoing development while maintaining high standards for patient transport.

You will oversee staffing to meet patient needs, conduct annual appraisals, initiate disciplinary actions, participate in interviews, manage budgets and capital purchases, and collaborate with partners to ensure safe, quality, cost-efficient services.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current Texas Paramedic certification.
• Minimum of two years EMS experience, with supervisor experience preferred.
• Texas Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate ground personnel and foster teamwork.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, cost-effective transport services.
• Oversee staffing to meet patient care needs.
• Perform annual performance appraisals.
• Initiate disciplinary action per policy.
• Interview potential division personnel.
• Coordinate budget development and capital equipment purchases.
• Promote professional growth and positive image.
