Job summary

Global Medical Response in Amarillo, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day EMS operations and supervise field staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with responsibilities including staffing, scheduling, equipment maintenance, budgeting, and liaison work with public safety agencies; leadership and mentoring of team members are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EMS field experience.
• State EMT or Paramedic Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Driver's License with driving record in compliance with policy.
• As required for EMT or Paramedic: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS Certifications.
• FTO or supervisory experience preferred.
• Some advanced education is preferred.

Schedule

The applicant must be able to work a variety of scheduled hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Supervisor Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations which may include staffing, scheduling, ensuring maintenance of equipment and supplies, internal communications, budgetary considerations, outside agency interface, and community relations.
