Charleston County EMS is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist II to maintain accurate inventory and equipment accountability within the Logistics or Fleet & Fixed Assets divisions. The role involves handling supplies, delivering items to various locations, and maintaining logs.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of related experience, and a valid SC driver's license with a clean record. Medical/physical exam and drug testing are required; HAZMAT knowledge is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent training.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to obtain Class E license within 6 months.
• Medical/physical examination required including drug testing.
• Knowledge of inventory procedures and practices; ability to work independently.

Aufgaben

• Accepts, stores, documents, and retrieves supplies/equipment; inspects items for quality and compliance.
• Delivers supplies and vehicles to and from locations and emergency scenes; maintains manual/computerized logs.
• Performs minor repairs to equipment and facilities as needed; supports Logistics or Fleet & Fixed Assets divisions.
• Works varied 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including day, night, and weekend rotations.
