Job summary

WCTC Corporate Training Center seeks instructors to deliver classroom EMS instruction and clinical teaching for EMT and Paramedic courses. Candidates must engage students, utilize technology in teaching, and maintain strong relationships with industry partners.

The role requires meeting Wisconsin TEC Board teaching certification requirements and may include varied hours including days and evenings. Adjunct/part-time opportunities exist for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications vary by instructional area but require a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant education.
• Two thousand hours of related occupation experience may be required within five years.
• EMS instructor certification and/or licensure is preferred or must be obtained at time of hire.
• Strong teaching capability and use of technology in EMS instruction are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction in EMS programs and clinical instruction in hospital settings for EMT and Paramedic courses.
• Deliver hands-on instruction using technology and maintain positive industry relationships.
• Complete requirements to obtain and maintain current teaching certification from the Wisconsin Technical College System Board.
