Job summary

Survival Flight in Dothan, AL is seeking a seasoned Field Maintenance Supervisor to lead Aviation Maintenance Technicians and keep the fleet airworthy and mission-ready. You will coordinate maintenance, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor technicians while upholding Safety and FAA standards in a fast-paced EMS helicopter operation.

Prevailing qualifications include an A&P certificate, Bell 206L4/407 experience, and strong leadership with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required or equivalent
• Experience with Bell helicopters (206L4/407) preferred
• Strong leadership, planning, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with maintenance team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FAA Title 14 CFR) and safety standards.
• Mentor and supervise Aviation Maintenance Technicians across field bases.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and base audits to maximize aircraft availability.
