Job summary

Westwind Helicopters, Inc. seeks a Field-Based Aviation Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on aircraft, including repairs and routine servicing in accordance with maintenance manuals and company procedures.

You will sign for completed work and ensure proper documentation and compliance with 14 CFR 135 and related regulations. The role requires leadership ability, adherence to the maintenance program, and readiness to work under supervision when needed.

Qualifications

A&P Certification is required.
Ability to work independently.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Excellent organizational skills.
Two years experience on Bell 206, Bell 407 and Sikorsky S76 airframes preferred.

Responsibilities

Repair, alterations, servicing, and routine maintenance on aircraft.
Perform work per applicable forms and manufacturer manuals and company maintenance program.
Sign for completion of work and be responsible for work performed.
Follow supervision as required and perform other duties as assigned.
Ensure labor and materials are allocated to proper work assignments and comply with relevant regulations.
