Job summary

East West Manufacturing, in partnership with Vexos, seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth in EMS, PCB, and electro‑mechanical solutions across the Mid‑West. You will identify new opportunities and expand the customer base.

You will manage a diverse portfolio, lead negotiations, and collaborate with engineering, supply chain and sales teams to close deals. Travel to meet customers and attend industry events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required.
• 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in electronics/EMS.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and OEM sales.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to sell complex B2B solutions.
• Proven ability to identify customer requirements and develop strategic solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive aggressive new business development to expand market share in EMS and adjacent markets.
• Maintain timely communication with customer management to understand needs and opportunities.
• Prepare clear proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
• Build trusted relationships with executives, operations, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Foster long-term customer relationships by delivering manufacturing solutions that meet needs.
• Analyze market potential and value of customers; manage program development, quotes, and samples.
• Coordinate resolution of manufacturing, testing, quality, and order issues with customers and internal teams.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conventions as needed.
