Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day EMS field operations, coordinate communications between field staff and management, and interface with external agencies. The role includes scheduling support, data analysis, and ensuring supply and equipment readiness.

The ideal candidate has EMS experience (3+ years), EMT certification, and strong medicine and safety knowledge, with the ability to supervise, mentor staff, and manage budgets and reports.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience in a related field
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• EMT Certification Required; Paramedic Certification Preferred
• Current CPR, BLS, NREMT certification, or equivalent credentials.
• Three years’ EMS experience required, preferred Paramedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs, monitors, communicates with, and evaluates all field employees in his/her assigned area.
• Acts as a liaison with patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital personnel, and other system users.
• Ensures maintenance of qualified field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication and evaluation.
• Prepares reports and manages projects as assigned by Operations Manager.
• Maintains availability during disaster situations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacity needed.
