Job summary

The supervisor will mentor staff, conduct evaluations, manage payroll/timelines, and help implement department policies and procedures to continuously improve EMS delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EMS field experience.
• Prior FTO or other leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• 6 months in current operations.
• High School Diploma or GED, with some advanced education preferred.
• EMT/Paramedic Certification.
• State Driver's License with driving record in compliance with policy.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and develop field staff to provide the highest possible level of patient care.
• Maintain quality field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication, and evaluation.
• Act as a liaison between the company and its patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital representatives, and other applicable personnel.
• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and facilitate individual and team development to drive positive results.
• Work with other members of the Management and Supervisory team to minimize problems, correct staffing and scheduling issues, and continuously improve service.
• Participate in the development, formulation, modification, and implementation of department policies, standards, regulations, and general operating guidelines and procedures.
