Job summary

Tidewater Community College seeks an EMS Program Coordinator to provide sound operational management and strong academic leadership for the EMS department. Based at the Virginia Beach Campus, you will oversee EMS programs across Hampton Roads, collaborating with the college community and advisory board to strengthen teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated EMS curricula knowledge and outcomes.
• Ability to develop courses and schedules.
• Experience coordinating programs with advisory input and college planning data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with EMS credentialing and accreditation processes.
• 5+ years in delivering out-of-hospital emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the EMS curriculum analysis and program design.
• Oversee curricula, syllabi, and resources for EMS programs.
• Lead outcomes assessment and accreditation compliance.
