Job summary
Carle Health seeks an EMS System Educator to lead and facilitate clinical and didactic education for EMS students and providers in the Peoria area. You will partner with the EMS Medical Director, Regional EMS Manager, ICC, and system agencies to design offerings, coordinate continuing education, and conduct quality reviews.
You will also support emergency management activities and maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
Qualifications
- Instructor certifications within required timeframes (ACLS/BLS/PALS).
- Lead Instructor Certification for IDPH or equivalent.
- Licensed Paramedic or RN with PHRN eligibility as required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate EMS continuing education programs meeting national standards.
- Collaborate with Medical Director, Regional EMS Manager, and ICC to identify learning needs.
- Assist ICC with initial education for EMS providers and FTI training.
- Maintain instructional equipment proficiency including simulation mannequins.
- Lead NREMT refresher course hosting.
- Assist with state testing rosters and licensure paperwork.
