Qualifications

• Education credentials required: high school diploma or GED or higher; bachelor’s preferred.
• Licensure: NREMT-P and Colorado EMT-P with timelines; ACLS/BLS/PALS or PHTLS instructor credentials within stated periods.
• Compliance with BLS/ACLS CPR card validity before start date; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Monitors clinical progress via defined statistical reports and routine sampling of patient care records.
• Applies quality improvement models to identify trends and coordinate improvement processes.
• Develops EMS educational programs and creates clinical policies, protocols and procedures for leadership review.
• Develops new training methods and works to improve education attendance and maintain certifications.
