Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks an EMS Instructor to lead educational programs for emergency care providers across classroom, lab, clinical and online settings. The position supports course development with a 20-hour weekly schedule and day shifts.

Responsibilities include delivering BLS/ACLS/PALS instruction, applying adult learning principles, mentoring new instructors, and maintaining records. Travel to off-site presentations may be required.

Qualifications

• Emergency care degree/certificate required.
• Two years of emergency care experience in Wisconsin.
• RN/BSN preferred or enrolled in BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMS instruction across classroom, lab and online formats.
• Develop and evaluate courses per state/federal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate class records and documentation.
• Mentor novice instructors and provide feedback.
