Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an EMS Instructor to lead course development and instruction for EMT, AEMT and Paramedic levels. The role emphasizes adult learning principles and effective feedback in clinical and online settings.

The instructor will coordinate schedule flexibility, travel up to 20% off-site, and mentorship of novice instructors while ensuring high-quality education across multiple formats.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a University or Community College with a degree or certificate in an Emergency Care discipline.
• RN, BSN preferred or enrolled in BSN program.
• Two years of experience providing Emergency Care.

Responsibilities

• Develop EMT, AEMT, Paramedic and/or AHA course content per state/national guidelines.
• Lead classroom, lab, and online instruction with assessment and evaluation.
• Instruct one or more American Heart Association classes (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Maintain records and provide timely feedback and mentorship to instructors.
