Life EMS is hiring for a full-time position in Grand Rapids. The role involves emergency medical communications, call taking, and coordinating with ambulances and mobility units to ensure prompt, safe responses.

Competenze

Typing skills and basic computer operation required.
Strong knowledge of city streets and service area geography.
Familiarity with the Medical Priority Dispatch System and local protocols.

Mansioni

Answer all telephone lines immediately in coordination with the Control Center Team.
Provide accurate information for United Way referral calls.
Assist with emergency referral calls for Red Cross in coordination with EMD.
Pre-schedule calls and relay response information to medic unit personnel.
Maintain a clean work area and ensure equipment is operational at shift start/end.
Prepare computer-generated reports for the Director of Operations.
