The role you’ll contribute:

The EMS Clinical Manager is responsible for planning, staffing, organizing, and coordinating the operations of the EMS department. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care that aligns with organizational goals. The role involves 24/7 accountability, with primary focus on shift operations.

• Collaborates with the EMS Director to assess, plan, and evaluate patient experience trends, maintaining courtesy in interactions.
• Develops positive working relationships with other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Emergency Management Services, Business Management, Public/Business Administration, or a related field required upon hire.
• At least three (3) years of managerial experience in an Advanced Life Support EMS system, EMS operations supervision, or emergency medicine as a Paramedic supervisor/instructor; or equivalent experience.
• Ten (10) years of EMS provider-level service upon hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program.
• Active Florida Paramedic license upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or RQI upon hire.
• Current NIHSS Certification upon hire.
• Complete AVADE Education within 90 days of hire.
• 8 hours of Stroke Education within 6 months of hire, then annually.
• 8 hours of Hip & Knee Replacement / Spine Education within 6 months of hire, then annually.
