Job summary

MWResource, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to support EMS power systems applications including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, LFC and OTS.

You will assist in design, testing and implementation of modifications for EMS/OTS environments and work under the Grid & Market Solutions Applications Engineering leadership. Requires a minimum of 5 years of related work experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science (Master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 5 years related work experience beyond degree requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies principles, theories and concepts related to EMS/OTS and market solutions.
• Support, design, test and validate EMS and OTS applications for real-time power systems.
• Coordinate setup and testing with Market Participants and assist in enhancements and issue remediation.

Education

Bachelor's Degree : Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Required)

Master's Degree : Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
