Job summary

MWResource, Inc. in the United States seeks an engineer to support EMS power systems applications portfolio including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis and OTS.

You will participate in design, development, testing, validation and implementation of modifications and enhancements to EMS applications. The role reports to the Supervisor/Manager of GMS Applications Engineering - Grid and requires at least five years of related experience and a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer

Qualifications

Requires minimum 5 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
Experience with EMS applications and power systems analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

Understands and applies principles related to EMS and grid engineering.
Performs testing, validation and implementation of EMS modifications.
Coordinates with senior engineers to meet departmental goals and regulatory requirements.
Act as consultant and SME for EMS/OTS environments and applications.
