Job summary

Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC is seeking an EMS Analyst II to develop and integrate solutions for the CLECO Energy Management System and peripheral systems. You will coordinate software activities, administer databases, and work with vendor upgrades while ensuring CIP/SOX compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Math/EE and 3-5+ years’ experience, with strong EMS architecture knowledge and project coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of related experience in energy/utility or equivalent field.
• Strong knowledge of EMS architecture and CIS/SCADA related systems.
• Experience with project management and coordinating software activities.

Responsibilities

• Champions a culture of transparency, integrity, safety, and operational excellence.
• Assists and coordinates as a technical resource on software activities at application/OS level and collaborates with operators and analysts to model EMS solutions.
• Assists internal/external customers in defining and implementing applications for business needs and recommending complex solutions.
• Supports implementation, testing, and documentation plans for EMS and related applications.
• Manages software modifications, upgrades, and CIP/SOX compliance.
• Performs security monitoring and cyber security incident response.
• Investigates cyber threats and maintains system availability.
• Records problems, sets priorities, and directs resolution efforts.
• Develops knowledge of system applications, networks, and databases.
• Keeps up to date with new technology and EMS improvements for business needs.
• Completes moderately complex processes with CIP policy understanding.
