Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems background; advanced degree preferred.
12+ years of experience in time-domain analysis of power systems.
Proficiency using PSCAD or EMTP-RV for complex electrical calculations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed electrical analysis using time-domain techniques to evaluate performance and identify issues.
Perform calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination.
Develop and implement solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in electrical analysis and troubleshooting.
Prepare reports documenting analysis findings, recommendations, and design modifications.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to time-domain analysis.
