Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems background; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in time-domain analysis of power systems.
• Proficiency using PSCAD or EMTP-RV for complex electrical calculations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed electrical analysis using time-domain techniques to evaluate performance and identify issues.
• Perform calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination.
• Develop and implement solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in electrical analysis and troubleshooting.
• Prepare reports documenting analysis findings, recommendations, and design modifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to time-domain analysis.
