Job summary

Boulder Medical Center is seeking an EMR Patient Access Trainer to lead training for front-office staff across multiple locations in Colorado. The role is full-time in Boulder, CO, with travel to Louisville, Erie, and Longmont to support onboarding and education on EMR workflows.

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years in medical front-office roles, strong communication, and Epic EMR experience. You will develop curricula, deliver sessions, and help improve patient access operations across our clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years in a medical office, clinic or hospital.
• Epic experience desired.
• Strong EMR knowledge to teach workflows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training for new and existing Patient Access staff.
• Develop training materials, guides, and educational programs.
• Support onboarding, workflow education, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot EMR issues with IT and operational teams.
• Coach end users and promote best practices.
