Job summary

Tryon Med seeks an EMR Support and Training Specialist to plan, develop, and deliver training across clinical and administrative teams. You will support onboarding, system upgrades, and ongoing optimization to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.

The role covers go-lives, post-go-live support, and collaboration with IT and department leaders to identify training needs and deliver role-specific content. Travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in healthcare, education, information systems, or related field.
• Experience in training, teaching, or instructional design preferred.
• Strong understanding of EMR systems and clinical workflows.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex systems for varied learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver EMR training programs and documentation for staff, including clinicians and admin personnel.
• Conduct new hire EMR onboarding training and scheduled periodic courses.
• Provide one-on-one and group training sessions, virtually and in person.
• Develop manuals, tip sheets, videos, workflows, and e-learning modules.
