Job summary

Oak Orchard Community Health Center, Inc. seeks an EMR Support Specialist (Level-2) to maintain data accuracy in the EHR, clean patient panels, and update referring physician records.

You will handle eCW helpdesk tickets, provide front-line IT support to staff, and travel to health center sites as needed, including some evenings and weekends. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to educate staff in both individual and group settings, with an associates

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to teach in both individual and group settings.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of clinical systems and policies relevant to trained roles.
• Troubleshoots system issues and provides IT support to employees.
• Performs patient panel cleanup and maintenance within the EHR.
• Updates referring physician records and cleans NDC data in the EHR.
• Responds to eCW-specific helpdesk tickets and provides front-line troubleshooting.
• Ensures data accuracy and consistency across the EMR system.
• Travel to Oak Orchard Health sites as needed for on-site support.
